AMDRO PowerFlex Pest & Weed System + $50 AMEX Gift Card Giveaway

This AMDRO PowerFlex Pest & Weed System review is part of a sponsored partnership.

As much as I look forward to warm weather, I despise the pests and weeds of summertime. That usually means some sort of hand triggered product application, and with my carpal tunnel syndrome, squeezing a trigger repeatedly can cause excruciating and lingering pain. I usually try to switch back and forth from hand to hand, but that motion still hurts, and it aggravates my nerves for days afterward.

I had been trying one of those pressurized pump sprayers and it wasn’t too bad, but the pressure didn’t last more than 30 seconds before I had to pump it back up again.

So that brings me to this AMDRO PowerFlex Pest & Weed System which I’m just now trying for the first time. Not only is it battery-powered for continuous spraying, but it’s an all-in-one system with quick change cartridges to target specific problems.

The AMDRO PowerFlex Pest & Weed System includes four (4) AMDRO PowerFlex cartridge options:

1. Weed & Grass Killer Concentrate
2. Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate
3. Yard & Perimeter Outdoor Insect Killer Concentrate
4. Home Pest Indoor Killer Concentrate

When I was trimming the bushes last week, I couldn’t help but notice the ever increasing weed population, so I decided to try the Weed & Grass Killer Concentrate first.

3 Steps to Use the All-in-One AMDRO PowerFlex Pest & Weed System

1. Fill the reusable one gallon tank with clean water.
2. Twist in one of the four patent-pending cartridges.
3. Spray to treat target pests or weeds. Quickly switch between projects by removing the cartridge, flushing the applicator for ten seconds with water from the tank, then twist in a new cartridge.

Once I had the container filled with water and a cartridge attached, I just depressed and held the trigger for a continuous spray. The tip of the applicator wand can be adjusted to allow either a wider spray or a more focused stream. I tend to like the wider coverage.

I also have those pesky weeds which like to grow in the cracks of my driveway, so I went after them as well. This photo shows how they were well on their way to death by the next day.

I did film a little video of how the system works and how easy it is to switch from one product cartridge to another. The convenience and versatility of this all-in-one system is pretty darn sweet, but I’ll show you that video in a follow-up post.
