Dinner and a Movie On a Budget + $50 Gift Card Giveaway

Going to the movies in January is fun because theaters are full of award-nominated films! Don’t you love when you know in advance it’ll be worth the ticket price?!

I almost always go out for dinner when I go to the movies too. If I eat first, I won’t be tempted to buy popcorn, candy and soda which can cost as much if not more than the movie ticket itself.

Tip: If your theater has a rewards club and/or email newsletter, I highly recommend signing up. I accrue points for ticket purchases and I have earned free popcorn, soda and movie tickets many, many times. I also receive notices about fun giveaways, advance screenings and special discount offers. It’s worth it!
