It’s Time To Get Real About Food #FedUpMovie

FED UP – The film the food industry doesn’t want you to see. In theaters May 9.

When a movie promises to show you what the food industry doesn’t want you to see,  then you can darn well better believe I want to see it.

For the past 30 years, everything we thought we knew about food and exercise is dead wrong.  From Katie Couric, Laurie David (Oscar winning producer of AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH) and director Stephanie Soechtig, FED UP will change the way you eat forever.

Katie Couric takes a hard look at America’s worsening obesity epidemic, and what’s causing it. It’s compelling and disturbing, but it’s something we probably need to see.

I’m not going to bury my head in the sand. I want to know what FED UP is all about.

I’d like to see the movie. I wonder how much the food industry has to do with the obesity problem.

Hopefully this movie will make people more aware of the health problems facing our kids as they get older. The statistics are scary. I know for sure that I’m going to do my best to educate my daughter.

  3. MARIA simon says

I will do my best to educate my children but we all have to do our part.. the industry and the movie makers :)

Thanks for the giveaway… it is disturbing to me that our government still subsidizes the sugar industry / corporate agricultural interests with our tax dollars so corporations can profit from products that are killing us i.e. sugar, high fructose corn syrup, etc.

  5. Jennifer Speed says

I saw the trailer for this movie and I think it will be or hopefully it will be an eye opener to the country about how much sugar we are actually consuming. I think it will cause people to read the labels more and be able to actually understand what they are reading.
